- Designed for safety & versatility, the 2.5ft square post base stub allows a post to break away upon impact, such as a moving vehicle. A new post and sign can easily be replaced by mounting it back to the base.
- Thick .109" (7/64") wall thickness, galvanized finish protects stub from rust & corrosion.
- 7/16" holes are placed 1" on center. Holes run length of stub on all 4 sides.

Installation Tip: Stub should be no more than 4" above ground. Hardware (which is not included) for attaching top post should be spaced no more than 4" apart.

The base stub for the 1-3/4" square sign post has a 2" x 2" O.D. The base stub for a 2" square sign post has a 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" O.D.
